Rare Fitness: Making the Culture Behind the Gym Visible

Rare Fitness already had something many businesses spend years trying to build: a real culture. Members were finding routine, accountability, and a place where showing up meant more than completing a workout. The opportunity was to make that experience visible beyond the gym.

JBC Productions works with Rare Fitness as an ongoing media partner. The goal is to create a body of content that reflects the people inside the business and gives the brand a consistent voice online. Instead of relying only on workout footage or promotional clips, the content gives viewers a reason to understand what Rare Fitness means to its members.

The Rare Fitness podcast is one part of that relationship. It creates room for longer conversations with members and local voices, then gives JBC source material for short-form pieces that can continue the story across YouTube and social media. One recording can become a full episode, focused clips, and moments that introduce the gym through the experiences of the people who know it best.

Stories such as Steven Buckley’s show why the approach matters. His recovery and the routine he found through Rare Fitness reveal something a standard gym commercial could never explain. The strength of the brand is not limited to equipment, classes, or a training floor. It lives in what happens when the right environment helps someone keep moving forward.

That is the larger work JBC is doing with Rare Fitness: building a media presence around the culture that already exists. The podcast supports it, but the real subject is Rare Fitness itself - its members, its purpose, and the impact happening inside the building every day.

The podcast is a service. Rare Fitness is the story.
